Hi again from heavenriver, your usual Blast from the Past host :)

Following on with the series of UF oldies whose galleries definitely deserve a thorough look, we will be featuring FractalEyes today!

Leaded Glass by FractalEyes

This is her current ID and avatar, and it truly does represent her style, showing almost ALL its distinctive elements. Her work is both eminently classical and exquisitely geometric in nature. She has a fantastic affinity with shapes and analogous palettes, especially of the metallic, marble-like, and sandy kinds.

"But aren't spirals and flowers boring?" I hear you cry, and rightfully so. The answer is: yes, but not in her case. Just like many other styles, spirals and flowers are two types of fractals that can be done and dusted and even OVERDONE to death, until you see so many of them you just want to go hide in a corner and cry because they all look the same. This is the strength of her work: while doing mostly classical types of fractals, she always does them in a unique way. Be it the colouring, the shapes, the cut, or whatever else - there's always a distinct feel to her artworks, that countless other classics lack entirely.

As you go through her gallery, you will also notice that classics are not all she does. The aforementioned geometric works of hers are another major strength and uniqueness point in her style. She can tame, reshape, and adapt anything to her every whim, as if she was crafting and manipulating those geometric figures by hand. The mastery of her control over shapes is nothing short of astounding.

And if you're still here thinking it's a lie, have a look at this piece and then check out the original.

Not to mention her Kandisky remake:

Stripping her artworks of their mixed, well-blended colours is also often not a problem; as she has proven multiple times, even her black-and-white works are stunning and captivating to the eye, and retain all of the artist's signature and beauty.

And what's more, is that this artist also has an extensive collection of publicly shared parameters to study and learn from!

In short: definitely, definitely give her gallery the love it deserves, and please send hugs for her dear, departed dog.
