FINALLY. A Julian who looks somewhat 3D, even though it's quite messed up as of the rest. Yay!
The name, "Cobalt Republic", refers to cobalt blue as of the colour, and to Plato's Republic as of... the republic. I was thinking of his philosophical books when making this fractal, because its upper section reminded me of a dome; the shape of the dome and its position made me think about Athens' agora, the governors' residence, hence linking back to Plato's Republic.
In the end, it was just a fantasy built up by my mind... but I liked it, so I decided to keep the name as such.
