This fractal is fantastic. I can see a beautiful light being cast upon a blue rocky planet cast with stars of blue color. These stars are the hottest in the universe, according to scientists. I see the tints and shades of blue, along with the shining white light. That light striking makes me think that planet is being cast with a mark. This rocky planet also makes me think of a literal blue moon, being colored to white. That light shining on it also makes me think of a new sun, a new hope. Good work, I hope you do more work on these kinds!
I'll start by saying this is absolutely fantastic! My favourite piece yet. Maybe I'm partial to blues, but I love the way you focused on the planet in this one, and the background is basic space. However, even the 'basic space' has detail in the stars the way they seem to go on forever into the background. The surface of the planet is wonderfully textured and although it appears rocky, the colouring is swirled and shadowed. I like the glow you give to the light, and the clouds/space gas in the background as well. Although it could be argued you stuck too much to blue and white in this, I think it is excellent. A very calming piece, the light brightens what appears to be a desolate planet. Amazing as ever!
You're welcome~! And I have a quick question. Do you know a website that can give you good information on different constellations in the sky? Because I can never find one! I thought you might know this lol~
Ugh, sorry for the late reply! Oh, I do go to Wikipedia! But I was hoping that you might have known a place where they shared shorter, but very useful, information. Not just having to read a whole page for an hour.
May I use this picture as inspiration for a Web Design assignment? It's for a story I'm writing and I see this picture and think I could use it well. I'd credit you of course fully, as well as send you a copy of the story when it's finished.
Well, I basically mapped a texture on a sphere and zoomed it until I got the planet surface. The light effects were done in a similar manner, sometimes unmapped. See, Ultra Fractal has good geometric/mathematical graphic tools in general, it's not just fractal! It does qualify as fractal though, since it's made from a fractal generating software. (Also, I apologize for replying so scarcely lately - my physics exam is closing in! )
