Ultra Fractal tutorial (available for all versions of UF)
Made for Project Educate: Fractal Week, October 2011
So I was planning to do a live tutorial in the chat, but after showing up for three consecutive days and not finding any student available for learning - or just people who were better than me in UF - I decided to do something different and write down a tutorial on my own. Just for Project Week, of course.
This tutorial is very basic and even complete UF novices can use it proficiently. It means lots of information will be an unnecessary reading for fractal experts, but the very principle of Project Week is to share our knowledge with the whole community, and this is what I'm hoping to do!
You'll learn how to make calligraphic fractals such as these:
Just a few basic rules:
- DO NOT repost on other sites without my permission. Ask me first! - Please link this tutorial in your deviation comments, in case you use it. - Please link me what you make with it; I'm always up to see other people's works! - Please add this tutorial to your Favourites if you use it!
That said, enjoy the tutorial and be sure to make some fractal masterpieces. Hope you like it, feel free to give me feedback. I'm looking forward to that.
Here are a few examples of what other deviants made with my tutorial!

i'm really liking the effects i get by layering the calligraphic forms with a texture.
