It literally took me dozens of test renders to keep the little tiny stars on the background (you wouldn't believe it, I opted the antialising out in the end!) but I made it! This is a dream come true for me: I have been wanting to make breathtaking space sceneries in Ultra Fractal for a very long time. I love space art, and I'm always looking forward to pushing the fractal boundaries ever further: it's part of my goal, as an artist and a human being :aww:
P. S.: yes, the avatar was a teaser. You know where it came from now. :D

My first thought when I saw this picture was that it is beautiful. It really shows the universe as being huge compared to us. Upon further consideration, I have to say, there are a couple flaws. Nothing that ruins the picture, just details that take away from the realism. The planet is definitely too flat, it doesn't look realistic, you should try working on shadows and lighting to make it seem spherical. Also, planetary rings are made up of many, many particles. At a view this close, you should probably see some of them, or the texture of them at least. The stars are wonderful in the background, but the dots of light in front of the planet are a little disconcerting. If they are supposed to be tricks of the light, try making them a little more spiky, and brighter.
Still, I am partial to this picture. It really does have a lovely effect. Good job!
