Contest entry for SaTaNiA's Tweak Me If You Can contest. Yay I took quite a lot to post, but I wanted to be satisfied with the outcome. :XD: This was a little trail especially toward the end, when I had to choose between black and white for the background... In the end I went for white. The icy look appeals me most :D

Params will be sent by Note to him. I'll make them available publicly upon request!

Edit - Wow, I got a second place! That's a huge jaw drop I have there, I'm so glad! Thank you!!!

This makes me dizzy! I look at and one moment it is going down. I look at it again and it is going up. This is a bit disconcerting to someone who has a fear of heights.

Yes, that's right! I have a fear of heights. And when I first looked at this drawing, I saw it as going down. Vertigo started to set in. This does not happen to me when I look at drawings. But your drawing/art did just that to me.

The hilites with the whites and blues give this photo that unique topsy turvy feeling when I look at at your 4th dimension. The grey shadowing also adds to the illusion as does the geometric shape of the whole thing.

You are right about the white background. I notice how it is reminiscent of ice pits - not that I have ever seen one, but if one put diamonds on the bottom or adds light.... I am mesmerized by the various texture and color gradient you employed. In addition to a crazy linear perspective, there seems to be a color perspective as the colors become more white at the bottom/top of the intricate edifice. It is both architectural and abstract. This is what keeps people guessing to what genre it belongs. I would totally expect to this location in a game, good work with space and rhythm in the picture!

I'm looking for a fractal that resembles this a lot, called "Portal," it's from a group of three fractals, and I can't find the artist. Would you be able to help me? There's been some copyright permission issues with it and I need to inform the artist.

By the way, wonderful execution of this fractal. It's marvelous.

Thank you! For some reason, I didn't see it in the dA search. Someone may have stolen it, and I want to tell the artist.

Thanks again! :iconwuvplz:
