Deus ex Machina by heavenriver Deus ex Machina by heavenriver
Apophysis 7x

Deus ex machina (Latin for "God from the machine") is actually a long-time theatrical expedient. It was used in ancient Greece and consisted in introducing, at the clue point of tragic happenings, an unexpected and supernatural force which would eventually lead to a whole new twist to the plot, usually getting to a happy ending.

On the more technical side, this is one of my experiments with the Disc variation. I believe I can do very nice stuff if I learn to use it correctly, and I hope I will.

Awesome piece! I really like the luminous transparency, and the colouring.
