This piece here is the result of the Enhanced Traps tutorial
, steps 4 to 6: learning about progressive parameters, general texturing and fBm texturing.
Woo-hoo! I'm very proud of this one, even if it's just a spiral. By combining the skills previously acquired through working with modulated iterations with the new ones just faced, I managed to texture each spiral arm differently (yes, I did so on purpose, it was no happy accident this time) and have a separated background. I admit I could have worked more on it, but I made it simple so that I could highlight the spiral shapes and textures more than the actual composition.
